On the in internet for the first time ever, this is my Dalai Lama sketchbook. Shon and I took the Greyhound up to Washington DC in October to see his holiness and Richard Geere. I skipped out of drawing class for the event so i felt i should draw as much as possible. View the sketchbook in it's entirety here

gut ripper
Because I wish I had drawn more pictures at Eagleton's. The one that i did of the adding machine and the paper clip box got taped up in the hallway next to the chart of the Chinese zodiac. Carol Heinz did a scarecrow drawing with the caption "I need a haircut" and it got put up above the phone. And I had a drawing of Catherine's dogs Eva and Papa that stayed in her locker. So I'm trying to think of what makes art valuable and why I let those super-cute drawings escape me.
Thank you Jesus.

drinking drawing driving / good fast cheap
I extended the Norfolk leg of my South Hampton Roads tour for the sketch crawl with Noah, Devon, Doug, and Bernard. I was having a great time until my assault on a bar patron backfired on all of us and resulted in one prolonged uncomfortable moment and BAD ART. drawing is not a competitive sport, but then a bar is never the best place to ask a lonely man for a small favor.
